VNA Health Group announces planned retirement of COO and CFO Kevin Rogers

Visiting Nurse Association (VNA) Health Group announced that Chief Operating Officer and Chief Financial Officer Kevin Rogers, CPA, will retire from his full-time executive role at the end of 2026.

Rogers, whose career in home-based healthcare spans more than 35 years, will maintain his dual executive responsibilities through Dec. 31. To ensure a seamless leadership handoff, he will continue to serve VNA Health Group in an advisory and transition capacity into 2027.

Rogers first joined VNA Health Group in 2005, serving as a key architect for the organization’s early merger, acquisition, and hospital system partnership strategies. After a period away from the agency holding senior leadership roles at Care Finders Total Care LLC and the Visiting Nurse Service of New York, he returned to VNA Health Group in 2018.

During his second tenure, Rogers steered the organization through some of its most volatile modern challenges, including the COVID-19 pandemic, major industry reimbursement shifts, and the financial stabilization of the VNACJ Community Health Center.

“Kevin has been one of the most trusted and respected leaders in our organization for many years,” Christopher Rinn, president and CEO of VNA Health Group said. “His leadership, strategic insight, and commitment to our mission have positioned VNA Health Group for long-term success. More importantly, Kevin has always led with integrity, humility, and a genuine concern for both our patients and our employees.”

In recognition of his lifetime of service, Rogers was honored last month with the Martha Esposito Award from the Home Care & Hospice Association of New Jersey—an accolade reserved for individuals who have demonstrated extraordinary contributions to the field.

Commitment to Community and Mentorship

Beyond his corporate achievements, Rogers has focused heavily on organizational mentorship and local public service, including serving for nearly three decades as the Municipal Treasurer and a Planning Board member for the Borough of Allenhurst.

In retirement, Rogers looks forward to traveling with his wife, spending time with his children and grandchildren, and pursuing personal interests, while remaining fully engaged in the upcoming transition.

“I’ve been fortunate to spend my career alongside people who genuinely care about helping others,” Rogers said. “What has always made VNA Health Group special is its commitment to patients, families, and employees… I have complete confidence in this team and in the future of this organization.”
