U.S. Gymnastics Development Center secures new Bergen County home with lease in Leonia

Local athletic staple U.S. Gymnastics Development Center (U.S. Gym Leonia) has secured a new, long-term home in Bergen County. NAI James E. Hanson announced on Wednesday that it negotiated a 19,485-square-foot industrial lease at 600 Willow Tree Road in Leonia, on behalf of the gymnastics organization.

The transaction was brokered by Jessica Curry, associate vice president and Andrew Somple, senior vice president of NAI James E. Hanson said.

U.S. Gym Leonia has been a fixture of the local community since 1988, offering gymnastics and cheerleading training for both children and adults. Following the recent sale of its former building at nearby 100 Leyland Drive, the organization launched a year-long search for a specialized facility capable of accommodating its equipment, layout, and structural needs.

The new location at 600 Willow Tree Road is a 124,260-square-foot industrial facility featuring high ceilings, a drive-in door, a tailgate, dedicated on-site parking, and a 1,500-square-foot air-conditioned mezzanine office. The property is situated just minutes from Routes 4 and 80, as well as the Interstate 95 corridor, offering easy regional access.

“This was a unique search from the start. U.S. Gym Leonia needed a space that could accommodate a very specific use, and finding the right fit took patience and a clear understanding of their intricate needs,” Curry said. “600 Willow Tree Road checked every box from the ceiling height to the layout, and the proximity to their previous location makes the transition seamless for the families and athletes they serve.”
