The New Jersey Alliance for Action is bringing together a heavyweight lineup of South
Jersey decision-makers for its 14th Annual Investing in South Jersey event, Aug. 7
(from 8 to 11 a.m.) at Seaview Golf Club in Galloway Township.
The speaker roster spans energy, health care, transportation, higher education and the
military, including:
- DEP Commissioner Ed Potosnak;
- Rowan University President Ali Houshmand;
- South Jersey Transportation Authority Executive Director Stephen F. Dougherty;
- AtlantiCare Health System CEO Michael Charlton;
- New Jersey Air National Guard Commander Lt. Col. Ricardo Basora Rovira.
The energy sector gets particularly deep representation.
Atlantic City Electric will send both Andrew Hendry, region president and vice president
of governmental and external affairs — fresh off the utility’s 500-megawatt battery
storage filing in Salem County — and Bill Saraceno, director of regional electric
operations.
South Jersey Industries will be represented by Chet Benham, senior vice president and
president of the company’s renewable energy ventures.
