To combat the region’s mounting skilled labor shortage, The Training Center has officially secured a massive 25,000-square-foot facility at 3087 Route 22 in Branchburg for its second vocational campus.
Celebrating over 40 years of excellence in workforce development, the established New Jersey trade school is custom-building the Somerset County space to serve aspiring tradespeople across North and Central Jersey, establishing a reliable pipeline of job-ready talent for regional employers.
Designed by veterans with decades of field experience, the new technical education hub will feature a specialized layout anchored by dedicated lab spaces and multi-zone training bays. These environments are engineered to replicate real-world field conditions, allowing students to fast-track their careers through rigorous, practical application.
“Our goal is to grow and expand our program offerings providing students with a unique experience in mastering the trades,” Dan Moscatiello, general manager of The Training Center, said. “This facility is designed by those with decades in the field and brings the environment needed to fast track students to successful careers today.”
Operating alongside its established Wrightstown campus, the new Branchburg location enables The Training Center to extend its geographic footprint and serve students statewide. The upcoming Somerset County campus will host hands-on career training and certification programs covering critical infrastructure sectors, including:
- HVAC (Heating, Ventilation, and Air Conditioning)
- Electrical
- Plumbing
- Welding
- Boiler Operations
The institution’s curriculum supports state licensing, national industry certifications, and comprehensive career development tailored for adult learners and modern industrial demands.
