Secaucus-based health care giant Quest Diagnostics has brought a seasoned pharmaceutical and finance leader onto its executive team. The company announced today that Damini Chokshi, an accomplished corporate executive with nearly two decades of experience at Merck & Co., has been named vice president of investor relations.
In her new role, Chokshi will spearhead Quest’s comprehensive investor relations strategy, design, and outreach program while offering critical strategic insight to the company’s executive leadership team. She will be based at Quest’s Secaucus headquarters and will report directly to Sam Samad, executive vice president and chief financial officer.
Chokshi transitions to Quest following a distinguished, nearly 20-year career with Rahway, New Jersey-based Merck. Most recently serving as Merck’s executive director of investor relations, she played an instrumental role in guiding the company’s external financial narrative and shaping its engagement with the investment community.
Her extensive background within Merck also spans critical leadership financial roles, including director of finance for U.S. oncology, as well as pivotal positions in global treasury services, financing, and corporate investments.
Chokshi’s academic background is equally rooted in the Garden State. She holds an MBA with specializations in finance and pharmaceutical management from Rutgers University, alongside a bachelor’s degree in finance and economics from Fairleigh Dickinson University.
Her appointment highlights Quest Diagnostics’ ongoing commitment to pairing top-tier executive talent with deep regional expertise as the company continues to drive its long-term growth strategy.
