Integrity House, a leading nonprofit provider of substance use disorder and mental health services in New Jersey, has been awarded a prestigious Pathways to Recovery grant from the New Jersey Department of Labor. The two-year funding will power a comprehensive workforce development and career placement program spanning seven northern counties: Bergen, Essex, Hudson, Morris, Passaic, Sussex and Warren.
The initiative is specifically designed for individuals impacted by opioid use disorder (OUD), focusing on those currently experiencing OUD or at risk of developing the condition. Participants will gain vital access to training and employment pathways across high-demand sectors, including:
- Peer Recovery Support
- Healthcare
- Skilled Trades
- Security & Logistics
- Food Services
Recognizing that sustainable employment requires a holistic approach, the program pairs job training with a robust suite of supportive services aimed at eliminating common obstacles to long-term success. Key offerings include:
- Education & Basic Skills: GED preparation and fundamental skills building.
- Family & Daily Assistance: Childcare assistance and reliable transportation services.
- Legal Support: Direct assistance to resolve administrative or legal hurdles.
- Integrated Care: Seamless access to behavioral health and substance use treatment.
