Somerville-based workforce solutions and IT staffing firm Matlen Silver announced the promotion of Rebecca Ventura to chief operating officer (COO), effective immediately. In her new role, Ventura will oversee national operations, delivery strategy, and organizational execution while continuing to champion operational excellence and client satisfaction.
Ventura steps into the C-suite following a successful run as Senior Vice President of Sales & Operations, where she was instrumental in scaling teams, forging stronger client partnerships, and driving overall performance.
Since joining Matlen Silver in 2021 as regional director of sales and Business Operations, Ventura has demonstrated exceptional leadership, earning four promotions in just five years:

- Vice President
- Senior Vice President
- Chief Operating Officer (Present)
Throughout her tenure, she has played a critical role in expanding the company’s enterprise sales organization, accelerating growth across multiple U.S. markets, streamlining internal operations, and supporting the firm’s IGNITE junior hiring program.
