New York Yankees legend and Baseball Hall of Famer Mariano Rivera is trading the pitcher’s mound for the grocery aisle. Rivera is scheduled to make a special in-store appearance at the ShopRite of Rockaway on Aug. 26, to launch his new hot sauce line, Mo’s Heat.
Shoppers and baseball fans will have the opportunity to meet the legendary closer, snap photos, and sample the brand-new collection of hot sauces during the event from 11:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m.

- The Cutter: The signature sauce and the “closer” of the lineup, offering a balanced blend that starts smooth before building into a lingering heat.
- The Curve: A bright, herbaceous, and crisp sauce powered by green habaneros, ideal for seafood and lighter dishes.
- The Sinker: The most approachable option, featuring fully ripened red habaneros with a gradual heat and a touch of natural sweetness.
