Specialty grocery retailer Sprouts Farmers Market will expand its New Jersey footprint with the grand opening of a new store in Sewell on Sept. 11.
Located at 280 Egg Harbor Road, the store will kick off its debut with a ribbon-cutting ceremony at 6:45 a.m., followed by the official opening of doors at 7:00 a.m. The location will operate daily from 7:00 a.m. to 10:00 p.m., offering shoppers an extensive selection of fresh produce, organic foods, natural meats, sustainably sourced seafood, and a dedicated wellness and vitamin department carrying over 7,000 items.
The Sewell store highlights local and regional agricultural partnerships, sourcing produce from New Jersey growers such as Eastern Fresh Growers, Flaim Farms, Nardelli Bros. Inc. – Lake View Farms, and Sunny Valley International.
Additionally, the location has partnered with Philabundance and the Food Bank of South Jersey through Sprouts’ Food Rescue program to donate edible surplus groceries to local communities.
To celebrate opening weekend from Sept. 11 through Sept. 13, Sprouts is hosting family-friendly activities and in-store product sampling. Promotional perks include free reusable totes for the first 200 shoppers on Friday and Saturday, free long-stemmed roses from Falcon Farms Floral for the first 400 guests on Friday, and a 20% discount on a single purchase for new and existing Sprouts Rewards members using promo code SGO20.
