Global IT solutions and services provider Hexaware Technologies has announced a strategic collaboration with the Project NANDA Fellowship. The partnership supports a three-month, fully remote program dedicated to training developers worldwide and building open-source infrastructure for the emerging “Internet of AI Agents.”
Hosted by FAN—the umbrella program behind Project NANDA—the fellowship focuses on solving critical technical bottlenecks in the scaling of autonomous artificial intelligence.
As artificial intelligence moves toward complex automation, a primary technical challenge is enabling autonomous AI agents to discover, verify, and coordinate with one another securely at scale.
- The Roots of Project NANDA: Originating at the MIT Media Lab, Project NANDA builds foundational infrastructure, standards, and reference implementations for a decentralized Internet of AI Agents.
- Core Focus Areas: Fellows directly contribute open-source code advancing agent discovery, verifiable identity, and cross-organizational coordination.
- Global Cohort Model: The inaugural selective cohort brings together over 10 fellows—including internal Hexaware engineers and external developers—providing competitive stipends, expert mentorship, and practical production-level coding experience.
For Hexaware, the collaboration aligns with its broader commitments to agentic AI innovation, complementing proprietary delivery layers like Zerovity™. By supporting the open-source developer community, the company aims to help train the next generation of AI infrastructure engineers while shaping how systems operate in production environments.
