Global real estate services firm Cushman & Wakefield has successfully arranged a 41,179-square-foot industrial lease for The Packengers at 50 Distribution Boulevard in Edison.
Cushman & Wakefield’s Joseph Hentze Jr. and Morgan Nitti represented the tenant in the transaction, while Heller Industrial Parks serves as the landlord.
The Packengers is relocating and expanding its footprint from its previous operations in Long Island. The specialized logistics and distribution company selected the Edison facility to accommodate its growing capacity requirements and benefit from the asset’s high quality following recent property renovations.
“50 Distribution Boulevard offered The Packengers the combination of building quality, value and the additional space it was seeking as the company evaluated a move from Long Island,” Joseph Hentze Jr., director with Cushman & Wakefield, said. “The recently renovated facility is well suited to the company’s logistics and distribution needs and provided the additional capacity it was seeking.”
