Fairfield-based Accordia expands third-party management portfolio with Yonkers retail and office property

Accordia Property Management, a prominent full-service real estate firm headquartered in Fairfield, is continuing to scale its third-party management footprint with a new key assignment in Westchester County.

The firm has been selected to manage a 22,000-square-foot retail and office property located along the main commercial corridor of South Broadway in Yonkers, New York.

Under the new agreement, Accordia will deploy its signature hands-on property management framework, overseeing financial operations, tenant and vendor relations, and daily facility needs. The firm intends to leverage the same owner-focused principles it applies to its own extensive commercial holdings—placing a heavy emphasis on expense control, long-term asset value enhancement, and proactive tenant engagement.

“At South Broadway, we’re bringing the same owner-focused approach we use throughout our portfolio — staying close to the property, communicating with ownership and tenants and looking beyond day-to-day operations to the long-term value of the asset,” said Christopher Hayes, Chief Operating Officer of Accordia and Group Head of Accordia Management.

Growth Rooted in Decades of Experience

The Yonkers addition builds on more than 20 years of commercial real estate leadership for Accordia (formerly Accordia Realty Ventures), which was founded in 2005. Over its history, the Fairfield-headquartered company has successfully developed, operated, and managed more than 5 million square feet of office, industrial, medical, retail, and mixed-use properties.

Frank D. Recine, Principal of Accordia Management, emphasized that the firm’s comprehensive background across asset management, leasing, and financial disciplines enables a holistic approach to real estate optimization.

“When an owner entrusts us with an asset, we approach it as if it were our own,” said Recine. “Property management, leasing and financial performance are all connected. Our experience across those disciplines allows us to look at the entire asset, address what needs attention today and identify opportunities that can make the property stronger over time.”

The South Broadway contract further cements Accordia’s expanding regional presence as a trusted third-party manager for commercial real estate owners seeking rigorous financial oversight and operational excellence.
