The United Way of Passaic County will host its 2nd Annual Women United Luncheon on Thursday, Oct. 22, bringing together business, philanthropic, and civic leaders to celebrate individuals driving community change across the region.
The luncheon will take place from 11:30 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. at the Preakness Hills Country Club in Wayne. Built around this year’s theme, “Leading the Way,” the event highlights local trailblazers whose dedication is expanding opportunities and creating stronger futures for Passaic County families.
The event will be hosted by CBS New York broadcast journalist Alice Gainer, with former New Jersey Lieutenant Governor Tahesha Way attending as a featured award presenter.
2026 Women United Honorees
This year’s ceremony will recognize four standout figures across business, public asset management, creative strategy, and corporate responsibility:

Mimi Feliciano — Community Cornerstone Award
Founder and CEO of Connect for Freedom and Co-Founder/CEO of FEM Real Estate, Feliciano is recognized for a distinguished career bridging business success, philanthropy, and advocacy. She continues to lead major initiatives to protect children from human trafficking and online exploitation.

Taffi Ayodele — Breaking Barriers Award
As Head of Diverse and Emerging Manager Strategy within the Office of the NYC Comptroller, Ayodele works to champion equity in financial markets by expanding access for diverse investment managers and advancing inclusion across global finance.

Eric Rojas — Visionary Leadership Award
Founder and Chief Creative Officer of Six+One, Rojas combines creative strategy with community purpose. Through his non-profit outreach initiative, For The Greater Hood, he has helped serve over 17,000 residents and distributed more than $2.5 million in brand-new clothing to local Paterson families.

Aimee Cabrera — Heart of Service Award
A Human Resources professional at L3Harris Technologies, Cabrera has led corporate volunteer initiatives that mobilize teams for hands-on service projects—including literacy initiatives, hygiene kit assemblies, and backpack drives supporting youth across Passaic County.
