Commercial law firm Flaster Greenberg PC has announced it will host “LIT HAPPENS: Managing Litigation for Better Business Results,” a comprehensive half-day conference tailored for business leaders, in-house counsel, and corporate professionals.
The event is scheduled for Thursday, Nov. 19, 2026, running from 8:30 a.m. to 12:45 p.m. at the firm’s Cherry Hill Conference Center. The seminar is designed to provide attendees with actionable frameworks to navigate legal disputes, control operational costs, and align litigation strategies with broader enterprise goals.
For many organizations, litigation is treated strictly as an isolated legal hurdle rather than a core business variable. Flaster Greenberg’s leadership aims to shift that perspective by focusing on proactive risk mitigation across the entire lifecycle of a dispute—before, during, and after litigation.
“Litigation is often viewed solely as a legal issue, but the reality is that every dispute carries significant business implications,” Adam Gersh, chair of Flaster Greenberg’s Litigation & Disputes Department, said. “This program is designed to help business leaders make informed decisions that not only address legal challenges but also protect operations, manage costs, and position their organizations for long-term success.”
The morning seminar will feature four interactive panel discussions led by attorneys spanning several of the firm’s specialized practice groups, including Litigation & Disputes, ADR, Insurance Recovery, Labor & Employment, Bankruptcy, Transportation, Environmental, Sports Law, and Family Law.
Key topics covered during the conference include:
- Proactive Risk Mitigation: Minimizing exposure through strategic contract drafting, insurance planning, and early risk identification.
- Dispute Resolution Pathways: Evaluating when to settle, mediate, or litigate based on business priorities.
- Litigation Efficiency: Managing legal spend, maintaining operational leverage, and streamlining the litigation process.
- Post-Dispute Integration: Implementing lessons learned to harden operations against future claims.
In addition to the educational sessions, the conference includes breakfast and dedicated networking opportunities with local attorneys and corporate peers. Eligible professionals can also earn 4.0 PA CLE credits and 4.0 NJ and PA CPE credits.
