Sales launch at Somerset Development’s The Inkwell Lofts in Long Branch

Inspired by Somerset Development – the developer behind the renowned Bell Works building in Holmdel and the newly launched Bell Works Fort Monmouth – has launched sales for The Inkwell Lofts, a collection of 22 condominiums in downtown Long Branch.

The Inkwell Lofts is a 46,550-square-foot condominium development designed by Minno Wasko Architects and Planners, landscape architecture by Bohler Engineering, and interior design by Paola Zamudio of npz studio+.

Completion is slated for this fall, with move-ins expected to begin shortly after.

“We’re excited to honor the rich history of this site while contributing to the continued growth of Long Branch,” Ralph Zucker, CEO and founder of Inspired by Somerset Development said. “The demand for high-quality residences near the beach has never been stronger, and this project will not only meet that need but also complement the character of Long Branch’s West End. We look forward to bringing new energy to this dynamic neighborhood and supporting its evolution as a vibrant beachfront destination.”

Located at the corner of Second Avenue and New Court, this three-story development sits just one block from Long Branch’s Ocean Avenue and includes 22 residences, comprising one-bedroom-plus-den and two-bedroom layouts, with select two-bedrooms offering dens.

Each home offers private balconies, hardwood floors, oversized windows, and open layouts that flood the interiors with natural light. The residences are complemented by a landscaped courtyard, a rooftop retreat complete with an outdoor kitchen and ocean views, and an indoor parking garage equipped with electric vehicle charging stations. Anchoring the ground floor is 800 square feet of retail space, featuring an upscale reimagining of the famed Inkwell Coffee House.

“With a limited number of new developments in Long Branch, The Inkwell Lofts presents a rare opportunity to own a newly built, move-in-ready home in a well-established beachside neighborhood,” Matthew Drennan, sales director at The Inkwell Lofts said.

“Over the past decade, the city has grown tremendously, welcoming a breadth of new restaurants, culture, and community energy. The Inkwell complements this growth by offering buyers a distinctive residential option in one of Long Branch’s most vibrant areas. We’ve already seen strong pre-sales interest and look forward to seeing this project come to fruition soon.”

Npz studio+’s design ethos for the building focuses on creating spaces that embody both an effortless lifestyle and a coastal sensibility. The project incorporates light colors, natural finishes, and organic elements to create calm, inviting spaces that complement the development’s prime beachside location.

Pricing for The Inkwell Lofts starts at $830,000, with select residences priced up to $1.1 million. First closings are anticipated this fall.
