Allegiant Travel Company announced a major expansion of its service to Atlantic City International Airport (ACY), adding four new nonstop routes connecting the New Jersey coastal destination to several cities in Florida.
The move solidifies Allegiant’s focus on leisure travel and provides new, affordable travel options for residents in both regions.
The new routes will link Atlantic City to four Florida destinations:
- Fort Lauderdale (FLL): Service begins Dec. 4, 2025.
- St. Petersburg (PIE): Service begins Presidents’ Day weekend.
- Sanford (SFB): Service begins Presidents’ Day weekend.
- Punta Gorda (PGD): Service begins Presidents’ Day weekend.
To celebrate the new routes, Allegiant is offering introductory one-way fares as low as $39.
Drew Wells, Allegiant’s chief commercial officer, expressed his excitement about the expansion.
“We’re thrilled to bring our brand of low-cost, high-value travel to one of New Jersey’s most iconic destinations,” Wells said. “Connecting this vibrant community with several cities across Florida not only strengthens our leisure network, but opens up more affordable and convenient travel options for our customers in both regions.”
The addition of these routes is part of Allegiant’s ongoing growth strategy, which focuses on providing nonstop flights between smaller cities and popular vacation spots. Atlantic City, with its famous boardwalk, casinos, nightlife and year-round events, is a major draw for tourists, and the new flights are expected to attract more travelers from Florida.
In addition to the new routes, Allegiant has extended its flight schedule through May 2026, allowing customers to book their vacations well in advance. All tickets for the new routes are now available for purchase on Allegiant’s website.
