The Atlantic City Boardwalk has a new destination for visitors seeking a blend of seaside tranquility and sophisticated style with the grand opening of The Seahaus Hotel. The new property, which held its ribbon-cutting ceremony on Sept. 16, is the city’s first Marriott Tribute Portfolio lifestyle hotel, a brand known for its distinctive, independent hotels.
A new chapter for the Boardwalk
The grand opening event was attended by local dignitaries, including Mayor Marty Small Sr. and Councilwoman Maria Lacca, marking a significant moment for Atlantic City’s hospitality landscape. The Seahaus Hotel, managed by Coury Hospitality, aims to transform the typical hotel experience by serving as a vibrant community hub. General Manager Paul Joseph expressed excitement, noting that the hotel and its signature restaurant, Cucina Del Mar, provide a unique atmosphere of “seaside serenity and culinary excellence.”
The 105-room hotel is designed with a modern, nautical-inspired aesthetic. Guests can enjoy seamless beach access, an on-site fitness center, and convenient proximity to Atlantic City’s casinos, spas and entertainment venues. The hotel plans to partner with local vendors to offer additional wellness and recreational programs, further enriching the visitor experience.
The development of The Seahaus Hotel was partially financed by the EB-5 Investor Program. This strategic funding method underscores a commitment to both local economic growth and the international appeal of Atlantic City’s tourism industry.
With its prime location and unique offerings, The Seahaus Hotel is poised to become a key player in the city’s hospitality sector, with additional programs planned for the coming year.
