With over a decade of experience in federal and state courts nationwide, McAvoy is recognized for his ability to navigate complex commercial disputes that threaten core business operations. His practice focuses on representing middle-market enterprises and closely held businesses across sectors including pharmaceuticals, financial services, technology, and manufacturing.
McAvoy’s arrival comes at a time when the health care industry faces increasing regulatory scrutiny and competition-related challenges. His background includes litigating claims involving:

Before entering private practice, McAvoy built a strong foundation in the state’s judicial system. He served as a law clerk to the Honorable Michael Shipp of the U.S. District Court for the District of New Jersey and held internships with the New Jersey Supreme Court and the Antitrust Bureau of the Office of the New York Attorney General.
