Archer & Greiner elects Marc Rollo as firm president in Strategic Leadership transition

Archer & Greiner P.C. (“Archer”) has announced a significant leadership transition, electing Marc Rollo as the firm’s new president, effective January 1, 2026. The announcement follows a comprehensive, top-to-bottom strategic planning process designed to ensure seamless continuity and position the firm for continued growth.

Rollo will succeed Christopher Gibson, who has skillfully led the firm since 2010.

Decades of experience and growth trajectory

Marc Rollo, who currently chairs Archer’s highly regarded Environmental Law Practice, brings more than three decades of firm experience and management insight to the role. His election was the result of a deliberate succession plan that included interviewing every shareholder to gather feedback on the firm’s future direction.

Known for his detail-oriented leadership style and open-door policy, Rollo is considered the ideal candidate to guide the firm’s next chapter. He will continue to maintain his national regulatory and litigation practice, serving as a trusted advisor to clients on complex environmental matters.

“We are immensely grateful to Chris for his steadfast leadership and decisive guidance, shaping Archer into the sophisticated midsize firm we are today,” said Marc Rollo. “This is an exciting time of growth and positive momentum. We look forward to capitalizing on strategic areas of opportunity to build and expand on our core strengths and enhance the breadth and depth of services we provide to clients.”

Seamless transition and continued leadership

The transition was collaboratively managed between Rollo and outgoing president Christopher Gibson.

“This transition was carefully planned and thoughtfully implemented to ensure a seamless experience for our valued attorneys, clients, and partners,” Gibson said. “It’s been an honor to help meaningfully grow Archer over the past 15 years, and I know the firm will continue to flourish with Marc at the helm.”

During his 15-year tenure, Gibson transformed Archer into a regional powerhouse, significantly growing the firm and driving its entry into the state political arena with the successful launch of Archer Public Affairs (APA) and the Political Law & Compliance Practice. Gibson will continue his role as a leader in Archer’s Litigation Practice, focusing on complex civil and commercial litigation.

Strategic expansion under new leadership

Rollo has already begun steering the firm toward strategic growth, recently spearheading the recruitment of several notable lateral partners.

Recent strategic additions include:

  • Business Counseling Group: Additions of Bozena Diaz and Justin Csik.
  • Corporate Compliance, Investigations & Criminal Defense: Expansion in North Jersey with Anthony Talarico.
  • Sports and Entertainment Group: Bolstering the New York and Philadelphia offices with partners Stuart Goldfarb and Robert Auritt, respectively.

The firm’s Board of Directors will continue to be chaired by Debbie Hays, and Stacey Sinclair will remain in the role of Chief Operating Officer.
