Stacie Sherman, a longtime senior news leader at Bloomberg, adjunct journalism professor at The College of New Jersey and a leading voice in advocating for those with disabilities, joined BINJE in September 2026 as a managing editor.

A lifelong New Jersey resident, Stacie got her journalism start as a Statehouse intern for the Asbury Park Press. She later was hired by Bloomberg, where she spent 28 years in a variety of roles, from business reporter to senior editor. After leaving Bloomberg, she led communications for Autism New Jersey, a personal passion pursuit. Sherman, the mother of two on the autism spectrum, has written extensively on neurodiversity and disabilities, including a personal blog and a self-published book.

She received a bachelor’s from The College of New Jersey and a master’s from Arizona State University.
