Berkeley College is set to host its annual Fall Career Fair on Oct. 16, from 11 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. at its Woodland Park campus located at 44 Rifle Camp Road. The event is open to current students, alumni, and members of the local community.
With nearly 70 companies scheduled to attend, the fair provides an opportunity for job seekers to network with a diverse group of employers actively looking to hire for full-time, part-time, and internship positions. Notable companies participating include Hackensack Meridian Health, the New York Police Department (NYPD), FedEx, YMCA, H&R Block, and Atlantic Health System.
Michael Iris, associate vice president of Alumni Relations and Career Services at Berkeley College, highlighted the event’s importance. He noted that the Spring Career Fair in April also drew a large number of employers, and he is excited to “again provide a platform where our students, alumni, and the local community can connect with a diverse group of employers and take meaningful steps toward their career goals.”
Attendees are advised to dress professionally, bring several copies of their resumes, and be prepared for conversations with potential employers. Employers with available positions are encouraged to register to participate in the event.
