The New York/New Jersey FIFA World Cup 2026 Host Committee has signed 20 Host City Supporters — more than any other host city in the tournament, it announced this week.
The number has real impact, according to Host Committee CEO Alex Lasry.
The supporter program helps fund matchday operations, transportation, community programming and what the committee calls the most extensive free fan engagement footprint of any host city.
“Reaching 20 supporters speaks to the strong demand from businesses and organizations that want to be part of major global events in New Jersey and New York and the strength of our region as a destination for future sporting, entertainment, and cultural events,” Lasry said.
The 20 supporters span a wide range of industries and include some of the region’s most recognizable names (listed alphabetically):
- American Dream
- Bristol Myers Squibb
- Choose New Jersey
- First Student
- Hackensack Meridian Health
- Highland Electric Fleets
- Horizon Blue Cross Blue Shield of New Jersey
- Mexican Caribbean Tourism Board
- New York City FC
- New York Stock Exchange
- NYC Tourism + Conventions
- Onyx Equities
- Paul Weiss
- PSEG
- Related Companies
- Resorts World New York City
- Snapchat
- Sports Illustrated
- Telemundo
- Uber
Fred Mangione, the committee’s Chief Business Officer, said the full roster reflects what the region can offer on a global stage.
“By reaching all of our Host City Supporter spots, we have assembled an extraordinary group of partners that reflects the strength, diversity, and ambition of our region,” he said.
The New York/New Jersey region is hosting eight World Cup matches, including the Final on July 19.
