CoreWeave, a Livingston-based provider of specialized cloud services for AI, on Wednesday announced a significant new partnership with Poolside, a foundation model company focused on building artificial general intelligence (AGI).
The collaboration is designed to provide Poolside with the extreme computing power necessary to train multi-trillion parameter models and deploy AI agents across the enterprise.
Massive GPU power and strategic infrastructure
Under the agreement, CoreWeave will immediately supply Poolside with a state-of-the-art cluster of NVIDIA GB300 NVL72 systems, which includes more than 40,000 GPUs.
Beyond the initial cluster, CoreWeave will play a crucial role in Poolside’s long-term infrastructure strategy by providing its cloud solutions for Project Horizon, Poolside’s ambitious 2GW AI campus in West Texas. CoreWeave is slated to serve as the anchor tenant and operational partner for the first phase of the project, which encompasses 250MW of gross power, with an option to expand capacity by an additional 500MW.

Poolside emphasized the necessity of securing immediate access to cutting-edge hardware to maintain its competitive edge in AGI development.
