Berkeley College is going global.
The school, known for its efforts in New Jersey and New York, has taken on international partners in China and Brazil, seeking to expand educational opportunities through strategic alliances with universities across the world.
So far, it’s been a success.
Earlier this month, Berkeley College, in partnership with Cerwise Education in China, graduated Master of Business Administration in Management students at the Woodland Park campus.
Through a partnership between the Berkeley College Office of Global Alliance and Cerwise Education, a branch of Cernet Education, professionals aspiring to advance in their careers have access to graduate-level education online.
Berkeley College, accredited by the International Accreditation Council for Business Education, is one of the sole American partners of Cerwise Education.
Berkeley College President Diane Recinos was thrilled to oversee the event – and all that it stood for.
“We are so proud to host this celebration today,” she said. “Completing an MBA is no small feat, and doing so across borders and cultures speaks volumes about your commitment to excellence and global learning.”
Students participated in a variety of classes focused on topics such as leadership, supply chain management, business logistics, essentials of management, economics, and marketing, among others. Classes were taught in English via live-streamed synchronous learning.
Provost Patricia Greer, who visited Beijing, in June 2025 for another Cerwise and Berkeley College commencement ceremony, was equally moved.
“The Cerwise MBA ceremony at the Woodland Park campus is a testament to the strong academic partnership between Cerwise and Berkeley College,” she said.
“This degree program positions graduates for career advancement within their chosen professions and is an excellent example of the international collaboration taking place through the Global Alliance programs.”
