Inspira Health has announced a major achievement in its commitment to high-quality cardiac care, with Inspira Medical Centers Mullica Hill, Vineland, and Elmer all earning the American College of Cardiology’s (ACC) prestigious Heart Failure accreditation.
The recognition is awarded for top-tier cardiac care and consistent improvements in heart failure patient outcomes. In a related announcement, Inspira’s Cardiac Cath Labs also achieved the ACC Cardiac Cath Lab accreditation for their dedication to safe, efficient, and patient-centered cardiac catheterization procedures.
These achievements underscore Inspira’s commitment to clinical excellence and advancing processes in cardiovascular care, especially as one of only two health systems in southern New Jersey to receive the ACC Heart Failure designation. This distinction emphasizes the organization’s mission to bridge rural health care gaps, following earlier national recognition for heart failure excellence from the American Heart Association.
“Access to trusted, high-quality cardiac care is a major barrier for people in rural areas like South Jersey,” Lydia Stockman, senior vice president and chief administrative officer for Inspira Medical Health. “I am so grateful to our teams who work tirelessly to address this roadblock and raise the standard for cardiovascular care in our region, ultimately helping ensure every patient at every Inspira location receives the very best possible care, close to home.”
To earn these distinctions, Inspira successfully met the ACC’s national standards of evidence-based science, clinical best practices, and the latest medical guidelines for cardiac care.
“Achieving national accreditations is about more than recognition. It’s about building a culture of trust with our patients, ensuring high quality, safety, and efficiency are always the standard,” Julie Arsenault, vice president of patient care services for Inspira Health said. “These honors from the ACC reflect our teams’ ceaseless effort to find innovative solutions that directly improve care for all who walk through our doors.”
In addition to the new accreditations, earlier this year Inspira Medical Centers Mullica Hill and Vineland were also awarded the HeartCARE Center designation, and Inspira Medical Centers systemwide were awarded the Chest Pain – MI Registry Performance Achievement Award by the ACC. Together, these designations reinforce Inspira’s comprehensive commitment to improving patient outcomes through best practices and enhanced safety protocols.
