Hudson Regional Health, the state’s newest health care system, on Monday unveiled its new brand identity, hospital names, and strategic vision for the future — formally cementing its position as the fourth-largest health network in the state.
The announcement marks a milestone moment for HRH, which — just weeks after acquiring and integrating three additional hospitals — has positioned itself as a statewide leader in scaling innovation, improving access and elevating care.
Now officially operating as a four-hospital integrated system, Hudson Regional Health includes:
- Secaucus University Hospital (formerly Hudson Regional Hospital)
- Bayonne University Hospital (formerly Bayonne Medical Center)
- Hoboken University Hospital (formerly Hoboken University Medical Center)
- The Heights University (formerly Christ Hospital, Jersey City)
HRH officials said they feel these facilities serve as the backbone of a network comprising more than 5,000 employees, 1,500 affiliated physicians, and a unified mission to deliver consistent, connected, and cutting-edge care across Hudson County and beyond.
Hudson Regional Health’s leaders say the system’s rapid growth is not simply about scale — it reflects a broader transformation of what community-based care can achieve. Built on bold investment, decisive leadership and deep community engagement, HRH is committed to being more than a health-care provider.
At the core of HRH’s mission is a promise: to ensure every patient, regardless of neighborhood, receives access to the highest standard of modern medicine in an environment that is seamless, welcoming, and driven by innovation.
As New Jersey’s fastest-growing healthcare system, HRH is focused on:
- Extending breakthrough medical technologies across all facilities
- Recruiting and retaining leading physician groups and specialists
- Renovating and upgrading hospital infrastructure system-wide
- Streamlining operations for seamless, coordinated care
- Investing in community health programs and education through the HRH Foundation
“This isn’t just a rebrand — it’s a redefinition of care in Hudson County,” Chair Yan Moshe said. “Hudson Regional Health is now one of the largest and fastest-growing systems in the state, and we’re using that momentum to bring real innovation to our communities. From AI-powered diagnostics to modern emergency care, we’re building hospitals that deliver on the full promise of technology-driven care.”
Under its new tagline, “Technology Transforming Care,” Hudson Regional Health has already introduced a slate of advanced capabilities across its hospitals, including:
- Robotic-assisted surgery using the Da Vinci XI Surgical System;
- AI-enhanced diagnostic tools in radiology and imaging;
- Real-time patient monitoring systems;
- The region’s first Stealth Navigation-guided cranial surgery, performed earlier this month.
Renovations and modernization efforts are underway at all four hospitals, accompanied by the expansion of specialty services and a physician recruitment strategy that is attracting top clinical talent from across the NYC metro area.
“Our goal isn’t just growth — it’s transformation,” Hudson Regional Health CEO Dr. Nizar Kifaieh said. “We’re building a system where innovation is standard, where care is seamless across facilities, and where every advancement — from robotic surgery to real-time monitoring — translates into better outcomes for our patients. That’s the promise behind Hudson Regional Health.”
