Six new public-access electric vehicle (EV) charging stations are now operational in Parsippany, thanks to a project completed by Encore Energy Group. The stations, located at 35 Waterview Boulevard, are publicly accessible and provide a convenient charging option for commuters and visitors near Interstate-287 and Route 46.
The project was made possible by a combination of a grant from the New Jersey Department of Environmental Protection’s (NJDEP) “It Pay$ to Plug In” program and JCP&L utility rebates, which covered over 60 percent of the total cost. According to Encore Energy Group, the NJDEP grant provided up to $4,000 per plug, while JCP&L’s make-ready rebates added approximately $6,700 per port.
“This project is a strong example of how Encore navigates every available incentive to deliver solutions at an affordable cost,” Bill Dato, CEO of Encore Energy Group said. “It’s that hands-on approach that unlocks the value of the incentives for building modernization.”
