Provident Bank, an Iselin-based financial institution, on Tuesday announced the appointment of Annamaria Vitelli as executive vice president, chief growth officer of Beacon Trust, its wholly owned full-service wealth management subsidiary.
In this newly created executive role, Vitelli will be responsible for the overall growth and retention of client relationships across the firm, which currently has approximately $4 billion in assets under administration. She will also lead the firm’s team of business development and wealth advisory professionals.
Vitelli will work closely with Valerie Murray, president of Beacon Trust and chief wealth management officer of Provident Bank, to execute a strategic sales and retention plan aimed at expanding the firm’s market presence and deepening existing client relationships.

Seasoned ultra-high-net-worth expertise
Vitelli brings a deep background in wealth management, private banking, and trust and estate services. Most recently, she served as Executive Vice President and Head of Hawthorn at PNC Private Bank, where she oversaw the ultra-high-net-worth segment, leading a team of over 200 professionals dedicated to serving families and individuals with investable assets exceeding $20 million.
She previously held senior leadership roles at PNC in wealth strategy and client experience, and earlier in her career, worked in senior roles at Vanguard and The Private Family Office, in addition to her early experience as an estates and tax attorney. Vitelli holds both a J.D. and an LL.M. in Taxation, earned cum laude from Temple University’s Beasley School of Law.
