Grant Hutchings, head of supply chain-Americas for Infineum, has been re-elected to a second two-year term as chair of the Chemistry Council of New Jersey’s Board of Trustees, part of a broader slate of officer elections and board additions for the 2026-2028 term.
The new officers and board members begin their terms in September.
“I am truly honored that the Board has once again elected me to serve as Chair,” Hutchings said. “I am grateful for the confidence my fellow trustees have placed in me and proud of what we have accomplished together. With a dedicated Executive Committee, an engaged Board of Trustees, and an exceptional staff, I look forward to continuing our work to strengthen CCNJ’s advocacy, support our members, and advance the business of chemistry in New Jersey.”
Hutchings joined the board in 2021 and was first elected chair in 2024.
Dennis Hart, executive director and board secretary of the Chemistry Council of New Jersey, was thrilled Hutchings is remaining heavily involved.
“We are pleased that Chairman Hutchings has agreed to serve another term as chair,” he said. “Under Grant’s leadership, CCNJ has strengthened its financial position, expanded member engagement, and continued to build its reputation as a trusted, solutions-oriented advocate for New Jersey’s manufacturing community.”
Also elected to the executive committee:
- Ian McCormick, commercial EHS North America lead for Bristol Myers Squibb, as first vice chair;
- Pamela Dudish, site manager for Urethane Systems USA LLC (UBE), as second vice chair;
- Mike Naughter, environmental remediation project manager for Syensqo, as treasurer.
McCormick has served on the board since 2021, Dudish since 2014 and Naughter since 2023. Hart continues to serve as secretary under the council’s bylaws.
The board also elected Martin McHugh, director of regulatory affairs for Groundwater & Environmental Services, and Mark Heinzelmann, a partner at Lowenstein Sandler LLP, as the board’s associate member representatives for the 2026-2028 term. The council created two board seats for associate member companies in 2019, in recognition of the role engineering, consulting, legal and other professional service firms play in supporting the state’s manufacturing community.
McHugh brings more than 35 years of experience in environmental regulation, natural resource management and ecological restoration, including leadership roles at the New Jersey Department of Environmental Protection, the New Jersey Attorney General’s Office, NOAA and the environmental consulting sector.
Heinzelmann is a partner in Lowenstein Sandler’s Environmental Law & Litigation Group and a former New Jersey deputy attorney general with extensive experience in NJDEP regulatory and enforcement matters.
McHugh and Heinzelmann succeed Rebecca Hollender, senior principal consultant and office practice leader at TRC, and Carol McCabe, managing partner at Manko, Gold, Katcher & Fox, on the board.
