The New Jersey Bankers Association (NJBankers) announced the appointment of Anthony DeSalle, president and CEO of Crest Savings Bank, as the second vice chair of its board of directors.
The appointment, effective June 23 marks a significant leadership milestone for DeSalle, who has spent over two decades in the financial services sector and has led the Wildwood-based Crest Savings Bank since 2018.
DeSalle’s career at Crest Savings Bank began in 2014 when he joined as senior vice president and chief financial officer. His transition to president and CEO in 2018 helped steer the century-old community bank through a period of significant digital and operational evolution.
A Certified Public Accountant (CPA), DeSalle holds an MBA from Villanova University’s College of Commerce and Finance and a Bachelor of Science in Economics from the Wharton School at the University of Pennsylvania. His professional background includes membership in both the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants and the New Jersey Society of Certified Public Accountants.
As Second Vice Chair, DeSalle will play a key role in guiding the association’s strategic initiatives during a period of rapid change within the banking sector.
