In a strategic move to better support the state’s civic and educational pillars, Kearny Bank has officially launched a dedicated Nonprofit and Independent Education Banking team. Designed specifically for nonprofit organizations, charter schools, and independent schools across New Jersey, the specialized unit delivers tailored financial solutions backed by deep industry expertise.
The team is led by Mount Olive resident Cori Macri, senior vice president / Nonprofit and Independent Education Banking. Together with Vice Presidents and Nonprofit and Independent Education Banking Officers Ana Londono and Jared Hargis, the leadership unit brings a combined five decades of experience in relationship-based banking, helping mission-driven clients plan, manage, and scale their financial resources.
Unlike standard commercial entities, nonprofits and independent schools navigate unique operational, regulatory, and funding landscapes. To address these distinct needs, Kearny Bank’s new team offers a comprehensive suite of financial products, including:
- Specialized deposit accounts
- Working capital lines of credit
- Term loans
- Commercial real estate financing
Anthony Bilotta, executive vice president and chief banking officer at Kearny Bank, emphasized the importance of a specialized approach:
“Nonprofit organizations play an essential role in the communities we serve, and their financial needs are quite different from those of other businesses. Our nonprofit banking team combines Kearny Bank’s broad range of financial capabilities with specialized expertise and relationship management, providing client organizations a dedicated resource for effectively managing their finances and advancing their missions.”
Senior vice president Cori Macri brings extensive industry background to her role, having most recently served with JPMorgan Chase Bank. A graduate of Dickinson College with a bachelor’s degree in political science, Macri also holds an MBA from Centenary University. Beyond her professional financial background, she maintains a deep personal commitment to the nonprofit sector through active volunteer work with local YMCA organizations, Habitat for Humanity, and financial literacy education initiatives.
