The recognitions underscore the academic health system’s ongoing commitment to delivering high-quality, evidence-based care for patients dealing with cardiovascular diseases and stroke across South Jersey.

- Heart Failure Gold Plus with Target: Heart Failure Optimal & Target: Type 2 Diabetes Honor Roll: Honors consistent adherence to rigorous heart failure treatment guidelines. The additional designations recognize excellence in medication management, coordinated follow-up care, patient education, and specialized care for hospitalized patients with Type 2 diabetes who face heightened cardiovascular risks.
- Stroke Gold Plus with Target: Stroke Honor Roll Elite, Advanced Therapy, & Target: Type 2 Diabetes Honor Roll: Acknowledges rapid, evidence-based stroke care. It highlights Cooper’s compliance with aggressive clot-busting treatment benchmarks, advanced endovascular stroke procedures, and diabetes-cardiovascular risk management.
- AFib Bronze: Highlights the system’s dedication to optimizing atrial fibrillation care through timely diagnosis, appropriate anticoagulation therapy, and structured stroke-prevention protocols.
