FellowshipLIFE, a prominent provider of premier Life Plan Communities throughout New Jersey, has announced a series of high-profile leadership appointments across its parent Board of Directors and local community Boards of Advisors.
Certified public accountant Robert Fodera has stepped into the role of Chairman of the Board. Fodera succeeds Stanley Morin, who retired at the end of May. Bringing over four decades of public accounting and taxation experience—including a tenure as partner-in-charge of Baker Tilly’s Metropark office and an appointment to the New Jersey State Board of Accountancy by Gov. Phil Murphy—Fodera will oversee governance for the parent board while sitting on the advisory boards for each individual FellowshipLIFE campus.
In addition to Fodera’s leadership transition, FellowshipLIFE expanded its Board of Directors with three strategic additions:
-
Theresa Edelstein: President of GAP Healthcare Consulting, LLC, and a veteran of the New Jersey Hospital Association with deep expertise in health policy, regulatory compliance, and aging services.
-
David Mecugliano: Chief of Strategy & Growth at Expense Consulting, bringing over two decades of healthcare executive experience, clinical background as a physical therapist, and a Master of Public Health from Boston University.
-
Christine Fares Walley: President of Holleran, recognized for extensive expertise in senior living sales, marketing, and operational development focused on healthy aging and dignity in place.
Local advisory boards have likewise been reinforced with community and financial leaders. Marcy Steele, an incoming resident at Fellowship Village in Basking Ridge, has joined the Fellowship Village Board of Advisors, bringing an extensive background in higher education administration and non-profit leadership. Meanwhile, Jeffery A. Hall, Managing Director of Financial Strategies for Life with over 40 years of financial planning experience, has joined the advisory boards for both Fellowship Village and Riverwalk Village in Hackettstown.
“We are honored to welcome these outstanding individuals as new board members,” Brian Lawrence, president & CEO of FellowshipLIFE, said. “Their experience in operational leadership and strategic execution, combined with their deep commitment to advancing innovative, mission-driven aging services, makes them ideal candidates to advance FellowshipLIFE’s mission to enrich the lives of older adults across all of our Life Plan Communities.”
