Summer is officially arriving in Northern New Jersey as Mountain Creek Resort announces the grand reopening of its popular Mountain Creek Waterpark for the 2026 season. The park will kick off its summer operations with an opening weekend from June 19 through June 21, before transitioning to daily operations starting June 27 through Sept. 7.
Located just 47 miles from the George Washington Bridge, the resort serves as a premier destination for residents across the New York Metro area and Pennsylvania looking for a high-energy summer escape.
Following a successful reimagining last season, the waterpark will once again feature its legendary attractions, Cannonball Falls and the Tarzan Swings. These classic rides have been updated for a new generation, blending nostalgia with modern thrills.
“Last season was an incredible return for Mountain Creek, and we’re excited to keep that momentum going this summer,” Evan Kovach, Resort general manager said. “Guests are in for a full season of fun, with our beloved attractions ready to deliver the energy and excitement they’ve come to expect.”
In addition to the headlining slides and swings, the park’s signature lineup will be fully operational, including:
- Colorado River Rapids
- High Tide Wavepool
- Zero G
- Canyon Cliff Jump
- Dedicated attractions designed for younger children
To ensure a smooth experience, the resort has implemented an advance online reservation system for all guests.
- Tickets & Passes: Full-day tickets start at $59.99 for weekdays and $64.99 for weekends. Season passes are currently available for $99.99, offering unlimited access, free general parking, and discounts on food and retail.
- Hours of Operation: During daily operations, the park will be open from 11 a.m. to 6 p.m. on weekdays and 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. on weekends and holidays.
- Waterpark After Dark: The highly anticipated 21+ after-hours event series is set to return from July 3 to Aug. 14, running on select nights from 7 p.m. to 11 p.m.
