147 N.J. companies made the INC 5000 – here’s how one made the Top Ten

Beni Solutions, an insurance sector innovator in Wayne, was No. 4 overall in ranking based on a three-year revenue rise of more than 40,000% (that’s not a typo)

An insurance sector innovator, a marketing firm, a mortgage leader, an energy infrastructure operator — and a whole bunch of companies doing a whole bunch of things with AI.

The Inc. 5000 is not a listing of the top companies in the country as much as it is record of those with the most explosive growth (since it is based on a three-year cycle of revenue) but it does provide an annual snapshot of the state’s work world.

Companies make the list by meeting strict eligibility criteria — including being U.S.-based, independent, privately held, and showing at least $100,000 in revenue in the base year and $2 million in the most recent year — and then being ranked by their percentage revenue growth over that three-year period.

In the 2026 INC 5000, released earlier this week, insurance-sector innovator Beni Solutions of Wayne earned the top spot in the state (and No. 4 overall) thanks to its rapid expansion in digital insurance operations and workflow modernization.

Remarkably, the company is listed as having 40,389% 3-Year Growth – which speaks as much to where it was in Year One as it was in Year Three.

No matter how you dissect it, that’s great growth, which the company says reflects strong demand for streamlined policy administration tools and data-driven risk management solutions. (The company bills itself as a digital insurance / workflow modernization / AI-driven enterprise platform.)

Beni Solutions was among the 147 New Jersey firms on the list. The following is the rest of the top ten in state, listed in their spot on the overall INC 5,000:
