Kris Kolluri and Kevin O’Toole will receive the two biggest honors at the 52nd annual Eagle Awards by the New Jersey Alliance for Action.
The morning event, to be held Oct. 19 at the Hyatt Regency in New Brunswick, recognizing seven honorees for leadership across transportation, labor, healthcare, engineering and South Jersey infrastructure. (For registration information, click here)
Kris Kolluri, CEO of NJ Transit and executive director of the New Jersey Turnpike Authority, will receive the Philip K. Beachem President’s Award.
Kolluri was a central figure in the state’s New Jersey’s transportation network for the 2026 FIFA World Cup — including an unprecedented effort of moving up to 40,000 fans in and out of MetLife Stadium for each match.
O’Toole, chairman of the Port Authority of New York and New Jersey, will receive the Richard Hale Chairman’s Award.
Now in his ninth year as chairman, continues to oversee one of the most ambitious capital periods in Port Authority history — including the award-winning new Terminal A at Newark Liberty and efforts to redo Terminal B, bringing in a replacement for Newark AirTrain, the multiyear “Restore the George” rehabilitation of the George Washington Bridge – and huge projects at JFK and LaGuardia in New York City.

Andrew Christ: A senior vice president of university operations at NJIT, he will receive the John L. Buzzi Engineering Excellence Award.
Donald Ferrell: A senior vice president of facilities, capital construction and realty at Hackensack Meridian Health, he will receive the Healthcare Eagle Award.
Philip Schifano: The co-founder and CEO of Schifano Construction, he will receive the Ellis Vieser Lifetime Achievement Award.
Michael Venuto: The chief engineer of the Delaware River Port Authority, he will receive the Walter Rand South Jersey Award.
Cyndie Williams: The executive director of Carpenter Contractor Trust, she will receive the Sigurd Lucassen Labor Award.
