Public relations agency Violet PR has named Heather Scott as account director.
Scott brings more than a decade of communications experience to her new role at the Montclair-based firm, including most recently with BerlinRosen’s Cities team.
This further strengthens Violet PR’s expertise in storytelling for organizations that shape communities and drive economic growth, as well as those in the real estate and social impact sectors.
Scott will lead media relations campaigns for Violet PR’s expanding roster of clients.
A lifelong New Yorker, the Quinnipiac University graduate has spent her career working with organizations shaping New York’s built environment and civic life, giving her a unique perspective on urban growth, community engagement, and place-based communications.
At BerlinRosen, she was an account director, leading communications initiatives for organizations spanning real estate, architecture, urban development and nonprofit sectors.
Her work generated coverage in outlets including CNN, Bloomberg, Fast Company, Architectural Digest, Crain’s New York Business, and ABC News, among others.
Last year, Violet was honored with two Pyramid Awards from the Public Relations Society of America – New Jersey Chapter (PRSA NJ). The awards recognize the agency’s effective campaigns that successfully elevated stories of business reinvention and inclusive economic growth across the Garden State.
