Moonachie-based Paris Baguette donates 685K pounds of food, gears up for 2026 ‘No Kid Hungry’ Campaign

Paris Baguette, the global bakery-café franchise headquartered in Bergen County, has significantly expanded its efforts to combat hunger both locally and nationally, announcing a major food donation milestone alongside the launch of its upcoming 2026 fundraising campaign.

Since establishing a partnership in 2024 with City Harvest, the Moonachie-based brand has donated more than 685,000 pounds of surplus food. The ongoing initiative, which redirects unsold high-quality baked goods from metropolitan area cafés directly to families experiencing food insecurity, represents a retail value of more than $12 million.

To build on this momentum, corporate leaders announced that the company will kick off its national 2026 “No Kid Hungry” fundraising campaign on Aug. 26, running through Sept. 30. Through in-café roundup donations and systemwide franchise participation, Paris Baguette aims to raise $250,000 this fall to provide healthy meals to the nearly 14 million children facing hunger in America.

“Serving the community has always been at the heart of the Paris Baguette experience,” Darren Tipton, chief executive officer of Paris Baguette said. “As we continue to grow across North America, we remain committed to using our scale and resources to create a positive impact where and when we can.”

The brand’s corporate support center in Moonachie, alongside local franchisees and guests, raised over $200,000 during the 2025 campaign, translating to more than 2 million meals for children in need. Beyond the tri-state area, Paris Baguette’s local cafés support regional hunger relief efforts nationwide through partnerships with Feeding America.
