Woodhaven opens innovative 5,000-SF design center in Freehold

Homeowners, builders, and design professionals navigating a construction or remodeling project have a new local resource. Woodhaven Design Center officially opened its doors to a brand-new, 5,000-square-foot showroom at 201 Mounts Corner Drive in Freehold, creating a one-stop destination for home building and renovation.

Designed to eliminate the hassle of coordinating across multiple vendors, the showroom brings together a thoughtfully curated selection of products under one roof, including kitchens, baths, closets, flooring, windows, doors, decking, stairs, railings, moulding, countertops, and tile.

“Folks often underestimate the number of design choices they need to make during a project, whether a small renovation or a new home build. It can be time-consuming and overwhelming. Our goal with the new design center is to create a one-stop shop where you can work with our team to make many of those decisions in one seamless experience,” David Robinson, vice president of Woodhaven Lumber & Millwork, said.

Unlike massive warehouse-style showrooms that often cause decision fatigue, the Freehold location was intentionally designed to be sophisticated yet approachable. It spans a broad range of styles, tastes, and budgets—from classic and timeless aesthetics to sleek contemporary designs.

Woodhaven’s in-house design professionals work hand-in-hand with retail customers to guide them through layouts, product selections, and finishes, with professional installation services also available across many categories.

The center is built to support a wide range of visitors:

  • Homeowners: Can manage renovations with direct, expert guidance.
  • Builders and Contractors: Can streamline workflows by sending clients to the showroom to finalize selections.
  • Architects and Interior Designers: Can utilize the space as a collaborative hub for coordinated product solutions.

“We wanted to create an elevated experience that feels sophisticated yet approachable, where homeowners and professionals can make confident design decisions in a collaborative and inspiring environment,” Julianna Welker, marketing director at Woodhaven, said.

“Instead of managing selections across multiple vendors and locations, they can rely on one team and one showroom to help coordinate the process, streamline decision-making, and keep projects moving forward efficiently,” Paul Glinn, Woodhaven sales manager, said.
