Princeton Public Affairs Group has added a familiar name from New Jersey’s economic development world to its roster: Brianna Hill, the policy staffer who built the state’s first employee-ownership program from scratch.
Hill, who is joining the firm as a government affairs agent, brings nearly a decade of public policy and legislative experience to PPAG. In her new role, she’ll advise clients on navigating legislative and regulatory issues, developing advocacy strategies and building relationships with New Jersey policymakers.
The hire is notable in part because of what Hill built before arriving.
At the N.J. Economic Development Authority, she established and led the state’s Employee Stock Ownership Plan initiative, a first-of-its-kind program designed to help New Jersey businesses transition to employee ownership while supporting long-term business sustainability. She’s also spent time across the private and nonprofit sectors, with policy interests spanning health care, labor and gaming.
Hill said she’s always been interested in public policy and the role it plays in solving complex challenges.
“Joining PPAG gives me the opportunity to learn from an experienced team while helping clients navigate issues that matter to them,” she said.
Beyond her professional resume, Hill carries political and civic ties that could shape her work at the firm. She serves on the Mercer County Community College Board of Trustees, is a member of the Women’s Political Caucus of New Jersey and is vice chair of the Mercer County Young Democrats.
Dale Florio, founder of PPAG, said Hill’s public policy experience and understanding of New Jersey government make her a strong addition to the firm.
