Yes, the 31,000-square-foot two-story building on 340 Fleming Drive in Phillipsburg has a black-and-white exterior is intentionally reminiscent of a Holstein cow’s pattern.
But that doesn’t mean it’s not functional or practical. Just blocks from Route 22, the property is only a five-minute drive from Pennsylvania, via the Easton-Phillipsburg Toll Bridge that spans the Delaware River.
Those are just some of the reasons an unnamed white-glove delivery service paid $1.76 million for the property, saying it will use it as an office and for storage
Sheldon Gross Realty Assistant Vice President Joshua Glussky, who brokered the deal, explained why.
“This building is perfectly designed for warehousing and for moving product, in and out,” he said. “When you factor in that it also provides direct access to northern and central New Jersey as well as the entire Lehigh Valley, it’s pretty much a ‘can’t-miss’ property.”
The design, of course, assures that.
