Iron Revolution to open new 28K-SF fitness destination at Town Brook Commons

Urban Edge Properties announced that premium fitness brand Iron Revolution will join the retail lineup at Town Brook Commons in Middletown. The new facility will occupy 28,045 square feet, repurposing a former Big Lots store to anchor the center’s growing fitness cluster.

Iron Revolution, which currently operates one other location, chose Town Brook Commons for its second expansion, marking the brand’s first partnership with the Urban Edge portfolio. The new gym will feature high-end training equipment, specialized amenities, and premium recovery areas, positioning itself as a world-class destination for local fitness enthusiasts.

“Our goal is not simply to open another gym, but to have a positive impact on people’s lives and create a facility that our members are proud to be a part of for years to come,” Raymond Fennell, owner of Iron Revolution said.

The addition of Iron Revolution complements the existing fitness offerings at Town Brook Commons, which include Orangetheory and Power Core Studio. Management at Urban Edge noted that the brand’s focus on a sophisticated training environment is expected to boost foot traffic and daily visits for the entire center.

“The Iron Revolution team delivers a top-quality experience in an unrivaled environment that appeals to avid gym-goers and fitness enthusiasts,” Kyle Irwin, director of leasing for Urban Edge said. “They attract a young, sophisticated customer base which will increase daily visits and customer traffic for all our tenants.”

Town Brook Commons serves as a central retail hub for Middletown residents, situated between the Navesink River and Sandy Hook Bay with convenient access to the Garden State Parkway. The center is anchored by major retailers including Stop & Shop and Kohl’s, and serves as a one-stop destination for local shopping and dining needs.

The real estate transaction was facilitated by Mike Testa of Catalyst, representing Urban Edge Properties, and Bernard Gutherz of Century 21 Action Plus Realty, representing Iron Revolution.
