Colliers announced that experienced commercial leasing executive James Marcellino has rejoined the firm’s New York office as vice president, bringing his extensive Tri-State regional expertise to the team.

Marcellino brings more than 17 years of experience advising institutional owners, landlords, and occupiers across prominent metropolitan commercial portfolios—delivering strategic insights that benefit cross-border tenants and investors operating throughout the New York and Northern New Jersey markets.
In his new role, Marcellino will focus on comprehensive office leasing and tenant representation, bolstering Colliers’ regional brokerage capabilities as the firm continues its strategic expansion across the New York metropolitan area, which frequently sees high corporate migration and tenant movement between Manhattan and suburban New Jersey business hubs.
Most recently, Marcellino served as a real estate consultant advising major projects for The Bracha Group, Christie’s International Real Estate, and Modernus Architectural Products. Previously, he served as Vice President of Leasing at L&L Holding Company, managing a massive 6.3 million-square-foot portfolio. During his career, he has also held key leadership roles with CIM Group and The Moinian Group, following an earlier tenure as an Associate Director at Colliers from 2011 to 2013.
“Colliers has built a tremendous platform in the region, and I’m excited to return at a time when clients are looking for thoughtful, experienced guidance on increasingly complex real estate decisions,” Marcellino said. “I’ve built my career on strong relationships and finding opportunities that create meaningful value for clients, and I’m excited to continue that work at Colliers.”
John Gallagher, Executive Managing Director for New York City at Colliers, emphasized the value of Marcellino’s return: “James’ return is another important step in the growth of our office as we continue to add top talent and deepen our capabilities. His institutional ownership experience and entrepreneurial perspective will bring immediate value to our clients navigating the evolving Tri-State market.”
