McDonald’s opens new standalone restaurant in Oakland

The Goldstein Group on Monday announced it successfully placed a new McDonald’s restaurant at 24 W. Oakland Avenue in Oakland.

The newly constructed, 3,655-square-foot standalone restaurant sits on a 1.89-acre site strategically positioned at the signalized intersection of West Oakland Avenue and Route 202. The property offers significant logistical advantages, including direct access to Interstate 287.

“We were pleased to assist McDonald’s in expanding their presence in northern New Jersey,” Chuck Lanyard, president of The Goldstein Group said. “This Oakland site, adjacent to I-287, is a prime location with great highway exposure and access.”

The transaction involved a dedicated team from The Goldstein Group which included Lanyard and Marc Palestina represented McDonald’s in the deal, while Jordan Leibowitz and David Zolotorofe represented the landlord, Landmark Oakland 24, LLC.

The arrival of McDonald’s further bolsters an already robust commercial corridor. The new location sits among a diverse mix of national and regional tenants, including Shop Rite, Walgreens, City MD, Ace Hardware, Chase Bank, and various dining options such as Burger King, KFC, Taco Bell, and Bubbakoo’s Burritos.

As the world’s largest fast-food chain, McDonald’s continues to serve millions of customers daily across more than 40,000 global locations, with this latest expansion reinforcing its footprint in the northern New Jersey market.
