Celebrating 40 years in the commercial real estate sector, women-owned brokerage Newmark Associates CRE has announced a robust performance through the first three quarters of 2026, surpassing $55 million in total transaction volume across more than 170 deals.
Headquartered in Cedar Knolls the firm’s agents closed 21 sales totaling over $26 million and signed 149 leases covering more than 300,500 square feet across office, industrial, flex, medical, retail, and mixed-use properties.
Newmark’s 2026 activity reflects steady regional demand across multiple asset classes:
-
Notable Sales: Major transactions include a $7 million mixed-use sale at 3324 Route 37 East in Toms River (brokered by John Sica), a $5 million office sale at 629 Parsippany Road in Parsippany (brokered by Nancy Tuckman), and a $3.95 million flex sale at 16 Microlab Road in Livingston (brokered by Helene Elbaum). Other key sales featured multifamily and retail properties in Harrison, Chatham, and Dover.
-
Notable Leases: Key lease agreements span Northern and Central New Jersey, including a 20,000-square-foot flex lease at 17 West Street in East Hanover (brokered by Deborah Myers), a 14,700-square-foot retail lease at 90 Bartley Road in Flanders (brokered by Helene Elbaum), and medical office placements at 90 Millburn Avenue (brokered by Jeannette Melillo).
Nancy Glick, chief operating officer of Newmark Associates CRE, attributed the firm’s momentum to deep industry experience and sustained fundamentals across New Jersey’s commercial landscape.
“Our agents are having a robust year, and these results reflect the depth of experience and relationships they bring to every assignment,” Glick said. “Whether it’s a 5,000-square-foot medical suite or a $7 million investment sale, our clients get the same level of attention and market knowledge. We have strong momentum and an active pipeline going into the fourth quarter, and we expect to finish 2026 on a high note.”
Industrial and flex leasing activity—such as deals in Pine Brook, Fairfield, and East Hanover—continues to benefit from small-to-mid-sized users seeking prime locations near major arteries like Routes 46, 80, and 287. Meanwhile, suburban office sales and healthcare spaces are demonstrating ongoing resilience and tenant demand.
As a WBENC-certified women-owned business enterprise, Newmark Associates CRE continues to represent owners, investors, and tenants throughout Northern New Jersey, Ocean, and Monmouth Counties as it heads into the final quarter of the year.
