Mariano Rivera, Baseball Hall of Famer and Founder of Mo’s Heat, and representatives of the Inserra Family, owners and operators of Inserra Supermarkets, Inc., and the ShopRite of New Milford store team.
LEDE ShopRite of New Milford, owned and operated by Inserra Supermarkets, will host a special in-store appearance by baseball legend and Hall of Famer Mariano Rivera to celebrate the launch of Mo’s Heat, his new line of Officially Licensed Major League Baseball hot sauces, from 11 am to 2 pm on Friday.
Guests will have the opportunity to meet Rivera at the ShopRite on 250 River Road, take photos, and sample the new hot sauce collection.
His three sauces were inspired by iconic baseball pitch types and designed with flavor personalities:
- The Cutter is the signature sauce, a balanced blend that starts smooth, then builds into a satisfying, lingering heat.
- The Curve is bright and herbaceous with a crisp but balanced heat from green habaneros.
- The Sinker sauce has a richer and more rounded flavor, featuring fully ripened peppers with gradual heat and subtle sweetness.
Rivera, widely regarded as one of the greatest closers in history, is introducing a hot sauce collection inspired by his Panamanian roots and lifelong passion for flavor and food culture.
Representatives of the Inserra Family, owners and operators of Inserra Supermarkets, will also attend.
