Specialty grocer Uncle Giuseppe’s Marketplace has announced major expansion plans to open two new locations in late 2027, marking its entry into Pennsylvania alongside continued growth in South Jersey.
The upcoming marketplaces will be located at:
- Moorestown, New Jersey: East Gate Square, 1311 Nixon Drive, Moorestown, NJ 08057
- King of Prussia, Pennsylvania: DeKalb Plaza, 320 W. DeKalb Pike, King of Prussia, PA 19406
The King of Prussia store represents a significant milestone as Uncle Giuseppe’s first marketplace in Pennsylvania, expanding the brand beyond its traditional New York and New Jersey roots. Meanwhile, the Moorestown location at East Gate Square deepens the grocer’s presence in South Jersey, serving shoppers throughout the greater Philadelphia region.
“King of Prussia and Moorestown are two markets we’ve been looking at for some time,” Carl DelPrete, CEO and co-founder of Uncle Giuseppe’s Marketplace, said. “As we grow, we’re careful about where we go. We look for communities where we believe our stores will be a good fit and where customers are looking for fresh, quality food and good service.”
Both new locations will feature Uncle Giuseppe’s hallmark traditional Italian marketplace atmosphere, highlighting foods prepared fresh and in full view of customers. Signature offerings will include:
- In-house crafted mozzarella and scratch-made pasta
- Full-service meat and seafood departments with custom cuts
- Authentic Italian deli, scratch bakery, and extensive prepared foods
- Specialty cheeses, imported Italian products, organic options, and a full grocery selection
The upcoming 2027 openings follow a steady period of expansion for the company, which includes recent openings in Greenvale, New York, and an upcoming location in Levittown, New York.
Recruitment for management, culinary, customer service, and support roles across the Moorestown and King of Prussia locations is already underway. Interested candidates can explore open roles and apply through the Uncle Giuseppe’s Careers Portal.
