Responsible AI Usage Foundation appoints Jan Eule senior advisor to expand DAIU adoption

Hillsborough-based Responsible AI Usage Foundation (RAIU) announced the appointment of Jan Eule, a former managing director at Accenture, as senior advisor as the nonprofit scales institutional outreach for its voluntary AI-disclosure framework, DAIU (Disclose AI Usage).

Eule brings 25 years of technology and regulated-industry experience to the role, having previously advised C-suite leaders on integrating emerging technologies while managing regulatory and reputational risk. In his new position, he will guide the foundation on enterprise implementation and institutional adoption as organizations seek practical ways to communicate artificial intelligence involvement in content.

Developed by RAIU, DAIU offers a flexible, self-declared alternative to simplistic binary “AI” or “not AI” labels. Designed to work across websites, documents, and media via plain-language labels, visual badges, or machine-readable metadata, the framework allows creators and organizations to specify the precise degree of AI contribution—ranging from full human creation to substantial AI assistance.

“Responsible AI usage and clear disclosure aren’t just a compliance box to check,” Eule said. “They build real audience trust, and they give the publishing entity a credential that sets it apart in the market.”
