Seton Hall launches ambitious fundraising campaign with $225M goal

Seton Hall University launched the most ambitious fundraising effort in its 170-year history with the For All, Forever: A Campaign for a Greater Seton Hall. The campaign, which was made public at a launch event on Sept. 19, has a goal of raising $225 million to support scholarships, academic programs and research.

Seton Hall University President Monsignor Joseph R. Reilly.

The campaign’s name, “For All, Forever,” reflects the university’s commitment to creating a lasting impact on every student and community it serves. During the launch event, University President Monsignor Joseph Reilly emphasized the importance of the campaign in shaping the lives of future generations.

“No matter when you first arrived here… Seton Hall has always been a place where students take their dreams, their potential, and their God-given talents and transform them into lives of purpose, hope, and spiritual and professional growth,” Reilly said.

The campaign is centered on three strategic priorities designed to enhance the university’s mission:

  • Preparing Leaders Now: This priority focuses on expanding access to scholarships and removing financial barriers to a Seton Hall education.
  • Enriching Our Education: The campaign will invest in academic centers, signature spaces, and experiential learning opportunities to prepare students for a changing world.
  • Strengthening Our Cornerstones: Funds will be used to grow endowed positions and research initiatives, which help attract top talent and drive discovery.

Jon Paparsenos, vice president of University Advancement, highlighted the importance of collective generosity. “Every gift, no matter the size, is an investment in our students, our mission and the communities our graduates go on to serve,” he said.

The university has already seen a strong response in the campaign’s early stages, giving leaders confidence that the fundraising goal is achievable. For more information about the “For All, Forever” campaign, visit https://www.shu.edu/forallforever.
