Valley Health System has officially opened its new Montvale Campus at 400 Market Street in The Shoppes at DePiero Farm, significantly expanding access to comprehensive health care services for the local community. The facility, which quietly opened its doors on Oct. 13, held a celebratory ribbon-cutting ceremony this past week.
The event hosted distinguished guests, including Montvale Mayor Michael Ghassali and 39th District Assemblyman Dr. John Azzariti, Jr., who praised the new addition to the borough.
“We proudly welcome Valley Health System’s Montvale Campus to our community and commend its mission to deliver accessible, expert, and compassionate care to all,” Ghassali said. “Let this ribbon cutting mark not just the opening of a facility, but the beginning of healthier lives, greater wellness, and a stronger Montvale.”
Azzariti, speaking on behalf of the Senate and General Assembly, highlighted the facility’s modern design and technology, calling it “patient-friendly” and noting its “remarkable design and cutting-edge technologies.”
The cornerstone of the new campus is a comprehensive musculoskeletal center located on the third floor. This integrated center is designed to provide seamless care for conditions affecting the bones, joints, muscles, tendons, and connective tissues.
Dr. Robert Brenner, president and CEO of Valley Health System, emphasized the facility’s “vast array of wonderful services” and its ability to deliver all necessary care in one location. “We are pleased to open the comprehensive musculoskeletal center, where physiatrists and other physician specialists; acupuncturists; and physical, occupational, and speech-language therapists will offer patients the latest in care and treatment,” he stated.
Key services available at the Montvale Campus include:
- Diagnostic Imaging: Full capabilities including X-ray, ultrasound, vascular imaging, CT, MRI, and breast imaging (bone density coming soon).
- Outpatient Rehabilitation: Services covering physical, occupational, and speech and language therapy.
- Valley Medical Group Practices: Specialized care in Integrative Medicine (including chiropractic and acupuncture), Pain Management, Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation (sports medicine), Podiatry, and Rheumatology.

Expanding Valley’s footprint in Montvale
The new facility marks Valley’s fourth location in Montvale, significantly increasing convenience for residents. The system already operates a Center for Women’s Health and a Valley Medical Group cardiology and pediatric practice on North Kinderkamack Road, in addition to two Primary and Walk-in Care Centers in the borough.
Brenner affirmed the system’s commitment to the area, stating, “We are proud to open this new location, making it easier and more convenient for all those who live in this area to get the highest quality medical, therapeutic, and support services than ever before.”
